This book is published by Nutrition Times Press, Inc., Tulsa, Oklahoma. This book is a general, easy-to-read reference which presents an overall analysis of dietary changes and emphasizes the importance of nutritional contributions to the enhancement of cancer treatment. It also provides a collection of several aspects of on-going clinical research in relation to nutritional aspects of cancer therapy. I generally recommend this book to my patients who have any type of cancer diagnosis.

Cancer and Natural Medicine - A Textbook of Basic Science and Clinical Research by John Boik. This book is published by Oregon Medical Press, 315 Tenth Avenue, North, Princeton, Minnesota 55371. Phone: 612-389-0768. The author\'s e-mail address is johnboik@aol.com. This book is available through the American Botanical Council, at many health food stores and directly from the publisher. It is a general, clinical analysis of the role of adjunctive care in cancer therapy, utilizing substances and supportive care. It is a cross-referenced work with excellent resources in terms of literature citations and rather detailed scientific explanations of the potential role of many of the therapies. It is a bit technical but definitely one of the best overall analyses at present. It is definitely recommended reading for all patients with cancer diagnoses.
